2ND POCKETQUBE WORKSHOP (2018)

INTERNSHIP AT EUROPEAN ASTRONAUT CENTRE

European Space Agency's (ESA) European Astronaut Centre (EAC) Communications team is looking for a dynamic intern to help meet the challenges of human and robotic space exploration. The closing date for this internship is Monday 19 March 2018.

DROP TOWER EXPERIMENT SERIES

United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs (UNOOSA) is inviting to apply for the fifth cycle of Drop Tower experiment series (DropTES). DropTES is a fellowship programme in which students can learn and study microgravity science by performing experiments in a drop tower. The deadline for applications submission is 28 February 2018.

ESA'S CALL FOR MEDIA: COLUMBUS AND ATV 10TH ANNIVERSARY
Media are invited to ESA’s technical heart in the Netherlands on 7 February for the celebration of the 10th anniversary of the Columbus laboratory and the launch of the first Automated Transfer Vehicle.
SUMMER SCHOOL ALPBACH 2018

The next Alpbach Summer School will be held from 17 to 26 July 2018, and will focus on “Sample return from small Solar System bodies“. University students and young graduates have until 31 March 2018 to apply. Application Deadline: 31 March 2018.

PROGRAMME ON CUBESAT DEPLOYMENT FROM THE INTERNATIONAL SPACE STATION
UNOOSA and JAXA announced the third round of the Programme on CubeSat Deployment from the International Space Station (ISS) Japanese Experiment Module (Kibo) "KiboCUBE". Deadline for applications: 31 March 2018.
BASIC SPACE TECHNOLOGY INITIATIVE FELLOWSHIP PROGRAMME

The United Nations Office for Outer Space Affairs and the Government of Japan in cooperation with the Kyushu Institute of Technology (Kyutech) have established a United Nations/Japan Long-term Fellowship Programme on Nano-Satellite Technologies for nationals of developing countries or non-space-faring nations.

Applications for the Fellowship Programme will be accepted until 28 January 2018.
